Third country on the road trip. Albania. 

We drove into and out of the country through the beautiful mountains. Along the coast, the hills are dotted with little castles and hundreds of proud national flags on top of all of them.

Tirana was a calm and peaceful city. I cannot remember all I ate, but what I mainly walked away with is the realisation that Albania surely is under appreciated!

Whether you are into beaching or hiking in the mountains, the country has it all.

To me, driving around was a blast! Winding roads, beatiful scenery. And just before crossing back into Macedonia on route back to Bulgaria, we stopped at a gas station for a last Tirana beer.

(It was only 20 or so KM left to the final destination for that day ;-))
