Similar to Ecuador, I skipped this one on my trip through Central America. 2012.

10 years later, I took a flight down from CDMX and was surprised to see how developed El Salvador actually was. (*as in tourism wise)

The first 2 nights I stayed in on of the best hotels I have ever been, doing absolutely knowing else but walk across the beach, take a swim, hang out in the pool and drink Michelada's.

Afterwards, I visited Sushitoto in the opposite site of the country, bordering Honduras.

The last days I stayed in El Tunco, the surf destination.

El Salvador was amazing! Though I do not know how it was before and I still know little of how it is now.
