I had never been to Fez. Once to Marrakesh and Casablanca, but that was it.

So there I went, hopped on a plane and +40 degrees did not scare me away. Besides, in the souks of Fez the temperature is really not that bad.

Highlight for sure was the tannery. To our suprise, a local working there was called up to give us a tour. We were literelly the only once in there. Pretty cool to see up close.

Another thing I discovered was tabouleh! Now a favorite of mine.

All in all, short trip but wonderful experience with a little side visit to Chefchaouen. The blue city in the Atlas mountains.
