Switzerland, July 2020
From Milan up north with the train into the Switzerland. The first time ever that I visited the Alps in summer time.
I was amazed by Bern, to be honest. Such a lovely and relaxed city. People just floating around in the almost turquise river that flows through the city. It was a Sunday and everyone seemed to be out and enjoying the weather and the day.
I picked up a car in Bern to drive over the Furka Pass (the long way round) to Zurich. If was after I had stayed a few days in Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen.
It was pretty busy there. Some trail running competition taking place.
Every morning I picked a new mountain to hike across. And in the afternoon, I enjoyed sitting in the sun with a big glass of beer.
Life is good in the Alps. Switzerland in particular.
