Tunisia, September 2022
A canceled ticket for March 2020 meant I had to try again. So I went, in the middle of the heat of the summer.
To be fair, it was hot. Very hot. But still okay to enjoy.
In Tunis I visited the old ruins of Carthage, one of the classic centers around the Meditereanian (together with Athens and Rome of course).
I also visited Sidi Bou Said, which reminded me of Greece with its blue and white colour pallet and view across the sea.
Finally, I spend a day or two at the resort town of Hammamet, to cool down in the sea, visit the kashbah and see if I could find myself a beer instead of the regular cold water with coffee.
An enjoyable trip. Relax. Friendly people and not too far.
